Brian Ingraham is the pastor of Re:Hope Next Generation Church in Glasgow, Scotland. He and his wife Kellie have three wonderful children. Raised in Seattle, they moved to Glasgow in 2003 to plant a church and hope to stay a long time.

The blog is entitled “Aspire” because this blog consists of the thoughts of someone who aspires to become like Jesus and call others to the same.

1 Corinthians 16:15 says, “Would you do me a favour, friends, and give special recognition to the family of Stephanas? You know, they were among the first converts in Greece, and they’ve put themselves out, serving Christians ever since then. I want you to honour and look up to people like that: companions and workers who show us how to do it, giving us something to aspire to.” (message)

I love reading the bible and biographies of people of faith; people worth imitating, people I aspire to be like. People like George Muller, Rees Howells, and John Hyde, men of the word and prayer whose lives showed what faith lived looks like.

Aspire. Who do you aspire to be like? Choose well.
